IF I WERE A CHEETAH

If I were a cheetah,

I would sprint across the grasslands

like a bolt of lightning, hunting for prey.

If I were a cheetah,

I would rest under the steaming sun

and wait for food to come.

If I were a cheetah,

humans would keep me in zoos

or in the wild.

If I was a cheetah

I would live in grass that is as tall as

towers and in open lands

If I was a cheetah,

I would become the fastest land

animal in the world.
